After receiving the newest images of this, I noticed how different they are. (double and single). I researched online and found this plan...Read Moret, depending on conditions, has different pink shades and doubles part of the time.

There are MANY different kinds of Baby's Breat...Read Moreh, this is the annual type, full name Gypsophila muralis 'Gypsy Deep Rose'. There is a perennial type which is white, or very pale pink called Gypsophila paniculata. There is also a white form of Gypsophila muralis and a pale pink form. The photos here for Gypsophila muralis 'Gypsy Deep Rose' are correct. Also will come back from seed the next spring around where you had it planted. So once you have this, you will always have it if you want. Slightly weedy in that respect, but sooo pretty!

Neither your description, nor the photo agrees with that on page 18 of the 2007 "Wildflowers" brochure from Wildseed Farms, and I don't k...Read Morenow which is correct. Perhaps the white-blossomed plant that I grew from the Texas/Oklahoma Wildseed mix is a different variety of Baby's Breath?
