I always call this rose, the beautiful red rose with the yellow reverse, Gypsy Carnival.( I think in some temperatures the reverse can be lighter to almost a white.)... as it gets older and more open it appears more evenly red.... The reason I bring this up is that there are other roses out there called Gypsy. I learned this when I ordered a Gypsy Carnival and was sent a Gypsy rose that was a lighter red w/o a different color reverse. Gypsy Carnival is a floribunda. The rose called Gypsy is a hybid tea with a large orange/red rose, that grows to about 5 feet. The Gypsy Carnival only grows to about 3 feet. There are also many other gypsy roses, gypsy moth, gypsy fire a 2002 rose that is red and white stripes, gypsy boy, gypsy dancer and so on. If anyone has information and pictures of these other gypsy's it would be nice to have these listed.

The blooms are mostly yellow tipped with various shades of orange, apricot and red--hard to describe, but very eye-catching.
