It is extremely endangered and seed is very expensive. However, seed germinates easily and the plant, at least as a seedling, is a vigorous grower. This Dioon has small leaflets quite spread apart along the rachis and are bluish green in color. It makes a good xeriscape plant but can't be crowded in the landscape or it could get lost- not a powerful presences.
