Rhizomes will begin to shrivel if let dry out too much, but will come back immediately when watered. Avoid full scorching sun. Best in filtered to bright (but still filtered) light. Mine is huge after a number of years and I have found it hard to kill. Most fronds spore bearing. In my experience this is an easy fern.

Good hanging basket fern from the orient. Leaves drop up to 2' and the rhizomes have an ornamental sea green to nearlyl white coloration.
