No fruit - too shaded to bloom. It has long narrow thorns - to 2" on this specimen that is less than 4' tall. On several leaves there were signs caterpillars had been there. Though shaded with a thick matt of leaf litter as mulch, it has survived drought with water sucking junipers all around. I am so excited to be able to have a hawthorn this far west in TX. GRT bird/butterfly plant.
