So...Read Moremetimes confused with other South African tree aloes like A thraskii or A alooides, which also have long, tapering smooth leaves. However, flowers are very different on A alooides, and somewhat different on A thraskii (sometimes difficult to tell these two apart)- A angelica flowers are a bit shorter (at least the flowering part is). This species is harder to find than A thraskii.
This plant grows well in full sun in Southern California. It is easily rooted in potting soil with warmth.
