At the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens in Coral Gables, FL, this was in spectacular bloom in late March. It was grown over a large pergola, but it had also spread far and wide by suckering. The upright suckers had been cut to 1-2' and formed a spectacularly flowering ground cover.
It has a reputation for producing suckers at a substantial distance from the first stem. It is a sterile hybrid and does not produce viable seeds. I'd be reluctant to plant this in the ground in a semitropical garden without a root barrier, because of the aggressive spreading, but this is not listed as an ecologically invasive plant (a hazard to the natural environment) anywhere.
I consulted with the help desk at the Palm Beach county agricultural extension service, and they concluded that Clerodendrum delectum and Clerodendrum thomsoniae 'Delectum' are synonyms for C. x speciosum.

It blooms from Spring until frost. It is not hardy for me in the ground, here in zone 8, so I usually over winter cuttings for the following season. It is easy to root, and easy to grow. It is also very resistant to disease, and bugs.
