I just bought one of these Encore 'Autumn Embers' (10 gallon tub) at our local big box home store and nursery (Lowe's). The card says "...Read Morered-orange" so I hope it's not pinkish as some of the pics show. I try to center on purples and oranges in my planting areas. All the blooms were spent, so I got a 24.99 plant for only 7 bucks when I asked the manager.

I have had it in a pot on the deck for a couple of years as a potted plant....Read More It blooms heavy in the Spring and sporadic through the year and again heavy in the Fall. It needs acidic soil, peat, keep moist. Prefers light shade to full sun. Great double red blooms, repeat bloomer.
