It has a long flowering season throgh the spring and summer. Like many Grevilleas the flowers are rich in nectar and great bird attractors. The species is widely grown. In southern France it is grown commercialy for its foliage. I have a well-established shrub in my garden, full of flowers and honeyeaters right now. Propagation is usually from cuttings which strike quite easily.
