This is a little climbing plant of new south Wales and Queensland in Australia. It is closely related to the lilies. It grows in wet forests, rainforests and along creeks. The flowers are small, white with protruding yellow stamens, looking rather like Black nightshade flowers (only with 6 tepals). The fruit are black berries. I read that the leaves and young shoots, cooked, make a fine substitute for asparagus.
