It's always good (as long as you can keep the deer away from it) and is a good producer. We were contacted several years back by a seed development company requesting some of the seeds we had (we always keep seeds from our fruits and vegetables to keep the variety going). We sent them some and hope they were put to good use to promote this watermelon.

I found this to be an extremely attractive watermelon
with its dark skin and huge size. A real winner!
