The plant is available in three colours. Pink, Blue and White. In New Zealand where I live I have been told that Pink is the hardiest of the three.
It is (supposed to be) easy to propogate from cuttings I am trying at the moment.
It needs free draining soil. It prefers cool moist positions.

They are fairly popular in cultivation, but I have not grown one. I did collect some seed last year for a revegetation project, but have not yet learned whether they grew successfully.
