Musk Daisy-bush is one of the largest of a large genus of shrubs in the daisy family found in Australia. This species is common in the we...Read Moretter forest of South-Eastern Australia. It has large leaves which are very smooth on top and covered with smooth silvery scales on the undersurface. The flowers are bourne in large clusters, but individual flower-heads are quite small. They have white ray florets (petals), but often only 3 or 4 to a head, so that individual flowers look untidy, but the whole large inflorescence is quite attractive. It grows as a large shrub or small tree as understory in fairly dense forests. We have grown them successfully from seed and used the plants in regevegetation projects in this area, but I have not yet established one in my garden.
