I have been struggling with this iris for 3 years. It does not grow well, nor does it increase more than 1 fan per year. ...Read More The stalk is no where near 42", but more like 36". It may be that it just does not like it here in Virginia. As long as it hangs on by a thread, I will try it one more year, but personally I don't care for irises that I have to struggle with. I have 300+ irises that outshine this one all the way around.
