This is technically a very short lived perennial and not the easiest of the Violas to keep. To keep the plant you need to take stem tip cuttings and change the place or soil they are planted every year to help prevent Pansy Sickness. They are also prone to mildew so give them plenty of space.
Having said that it's a stunning little beauty and well worth a little bother to keep.
