The blooms are a bright fuscha-red and hold their color generally for 2 days, on the third they fade somewhat and die, but another always seems to be coming on. The pads spread out over approximately a 3'-4' area and are about 6-8" in diameter. Of the 10 types I have in my pond, Wildfire is possibly my favorite.
Accepts dividing easily - best to wait until some of the pads are showing so you are able to identify the growing tips. Good information as to how to divide and pot can be found online by doing a search for "dividing waterlilies."
