Slow growing usually wider than high but it can grow 10' to 14' high. When grown in full sun the white, sterile flowers become beautiful pink, and mature to mauve and light violet. Flowerheads have an average length of 10" x 6" wide. Flowers are not suitable for drying, as the florets fall easily.
