Handsome foliage on a shrub growing 3' to 4' (and sometimes 5' tall). Inflorescences can grow up to 7" in diameter and consist of deep pink, almost fluorescent florets in a single ring around the fertile flowers of a lighter pink to white. Florets can be blue-purple in acid soil. A very good pot plant but needs a sheltered place in the garden.
