Van Gel...Read Morederen (2004 - Timber Press): Sturdy plant with moderate growth, usually not more than 3.5' high. Flowers numerous but not large, sepals are serrate. Flower color usually crimson pink to red but varys enormously; dark blue-purple in very acid soil. Lasts well in shade. Suitable as a pot plant.
