Although it does produce an occasional pinkish-white flowerhead where a few ray-flowers surround the fertile flowers; the plant is mostly sold for it's foliage. This is a variegated cultivar with pointed leaves that have irregular white variegation along the margins, which shows up best when the plant is grown in shade. Some leaves may be entirely white, or splotched. Origin Japanese.
