Unlike other varieties their blue color is is only slightly changed by PH soil level, which makes it work very well in a mixed perennial garden. Wonderful variety for this area.

Flowerheads a...Read Morere large, saucer shaped, with a full ring of ray-flowers, somewhat overlapping and sepals slightly dentate. Flower color is light blue, pink on alkaline soil. The fertile flowers are blue or pink accordingly. Very free-flowering and may also flower a second time from lateral buds from July to September. Blauling means "blue butterfly."
