I'm not usually a pole bean fan but these have an extraordinary buttery taste even when they are 7 inches long. Protect from wildlife when small - rabbits and deer like the shoots.
Cook in boiling H2O only for a minute or two. Can also be scalded and frozen.

They can be snapped and used fresh or allowed to dry for shell beans. Seeds are brown with darker brown stripes.
