It grows in sun or shade. Our cold, snowy, zone 6 winters didn't have any affect on it. I have to keep pulling it out to keep it under control. Hardiest plant I've ever had. Put it where it can run and you'll be amazed how fast it covers.

Notice the difference in the leaf shape of this subspecies of Crassulaceae Sedum kamtschaticum. Flowers can be orange/yellow.
