Plants remained healthy in foggy November Central California weather from a late summer hot-weather planting. Need some propping up when pods get big. I looped a string around several plants and tied them loosely to a short fence.
Snap beans are good quality, flat, green streaked magenta-rose. Bore with earliest bush beans planted at the same time, yield was not high. Shell beans are a beautiful shiny greenish white when pod ground color is yellow-green; cream mottled violet when pod ground color is ivory-yellow. Fresh-shelled beans keep shape when cooked.
