I dug up two small ones that came up from large mature trees about three summers ago. Both are now well over 4 feet tall and bloomed significantly the past two summers (Late June to first of October). I also have 96 plants done from this year's seed. They are in a sunny window and beginning to shoot up.
* Note that the color of the Carolina Beauty does not stay true when grown from seed though.
