Flourished under neglect in the northern suburbs of Houston, TX zone 9a. More of a lavender pink in that particular situation and bloomed continuously until fall. It was limbed up next to the patio and the tan/cinnamon bark was great. Beautiful fall leaf color in December with lots of bright gold leaves. Grew taller than my one story house in about ten years.
