Leaf size is in the middle of the range for hostas. The swirl formed by the twisted leaves is accentuated by the colour combination. Flowers are an uninteresting pale lilac and not prolific.
In the UK climate (Yorkshire) it does well in a large pot on a terrace that gets afternoon sun and I would expect it to do equally well in an open bed.. Undemanding other than slug damage to emerging shoots if not protected. Mine is in a ph neutral compost mix - three parts peat free compost, one part John Innes number 3 loam and one part horticultural grit.
