It has the odd characteristic of opening the first flowers a definite blue bi-tone but as it's bloom period progresses, the flowers go a little more toward the purple bi-tone shades, so both the blue toned pictures and purple toned pictures are accurate.

Iris October Sky reblooms in zone 9 in late October-early November. It's got good substance. This one is a keeper.
