My experience has shown me that the standards should be darker than the falls - usually brown or brownish-orange; and the falls are orange which may vary in orange coloring from yellow-orange to an orange-orange to a lt. brown orange. Color variation is usually due to the lighting, fertilizers, climate, and the type of soil it is grown in. The beard will always remain the same tangerine color.
