My guess (and not a very educated one) is that what make...Read Mores it hardy here with our snowy winters may be a shortcoming in hotter regions. I wish Dad was still here to ask- he would have been pleased to know that others are still enjoying the beauty of Ecstatic Echo.
The flower is amazing. I love the colors (pink and brick red). This is the 1st year so we'll see how she does from here.

Iris is gorgeous but the growth lacks vigor. Not a happy iris in zone 7B.
It's a nice looking iris, but it just doesn't grow all that well here in Arizona for me. It may elsewhere.
