Mine has to be divided every 2 years. The blooms are huge (5"), start blooming mid-May and bloom continuously until July or August in Taos, New Mexico, zone 5a, high desert, soil pH 8.4, water pH 8.1.

This was the first in my garden to take off and bloomed like crazy.
