As a garden plant, it is highly variable with leaf colors ranging from streaked to margined to solid-colored forms. It produces a small mound 11" x 25" of narrow, highly variable foliage; purple flowers. Leaves are about 5" long by 1.5" wide. The top is slightly shiny with a moderately shiny underside. Slightly wavy margin and smooth texture; thin substance with 6 vein pairs.

Widely used in breeding programs in the '70's and '80's. Frances Williams named it for the daughter of one of her friends.

Leaf colors vary, 22"-30" flower scapes. Produces variegated seedlings often.
