Drought tolerant to a fault, flowering regularly every late winter (and mid-winter when mild enough, like today 01/14/07), clean green foliage all summer...this is a reliable performer. It has not set much fruit by itself, but this year it will have some dissimilar clones flowering nearby so we'll see if that helps.
'Golden Glory' has a much more upright barrel-shaped habit, compared to the very wide-spreading rounded shape of the species. This lends a more formal air to the plant, and makes it suitable for somewhat smaller spaces.
