The taste is very good. I ate it raw without any embellishments and enjoyed it tremendously. I planted them next to my 6 foot cedar fence and they are at the top already. I will grow them again if I can find the seeds. I don't remember whether they are hybrid or not. They are growing well in drought stricken South Dakota where it has been over 100 degrees several days in July with ony 1/2 inch of rain the entire month. No problem with any disease or blight - maybe because it is so hot.
