The entire mountain series is designed for the eastern piedmont. They usually show up in the farmer's markets as " mountain" or "mountain grown" tomatoes.

I live in the southern San Joaquin Valley of California. The weather is hot and mostly dry. I am disappointed with 'Mountain Delight' tom...Read Moreatoes. I grew them from seed because they are supposed to be crack-resistant and have a good taste.

They crack as bad as 'Celebrity' and the taste is a flat as the worst commercial tomato. They are sturdy plants and can produce some one-pound tomatoes. They need to be staked because they produce a bunch of fruit.
