This cultivar was introduce by Burgess 1963, I grew it in the 60's and 70's until seed were no longer available. It is a large dark yello...Read Morew beefsteak which resembles the Golden Colossal and the Golden Ponderosa. However it is larger smoother and much more productive than either. It will match either of them in taste. The best yellow beefsteak I have ever grown. Anyone who finds seeds let me know.
