It seems to take it's time establishing itself but is also one of the hardiest varieties in my garden. Fanchion is slow to multiply but the advantage to this behavior is that it does not need to be divided as quickly as other more vigorous growers. This is one tough and uncommon beauty and I am glad that I stumbled onto it!
