It has been in the ground for around 3 years now. The vine took those years to grow quite tall and large, and it has really taken off this year ( 2024 ). It is around 15 feet tall now, and still growing like crazy. I bought this particular cultivar because it is self fertile, and very hardy. This year, I am expecting flowers for the first time in its life, so far. Looking forward to that, as well as Kiwi berries, later in the season. We shall see. The fruits are so delicious. I have tried them before when living in Washington. Smaller than the ones usually found in the grocery store, but way more flavourful and delicious, in my opinion. Other than that, I love this vine for its leaves and its growth pattern. I find the leaves to be particularly beautiful themselves, but that's just me. I am sure the flowers and fruits will be just as spectacular. I probably will eventually purchase another one or two vines, just to boost the fruit production, but since this cultivar is self fertile, it isn't necessary. This is a vine that should be planted much more, here in Minnesota. The climate here is conducive for loads of Kiwi berries, and its always so much better when you can grow your own.
