It is very pretty and looks like a miniature Digitalis. It blooms continuously with multiple flower spikes throughout the year. The foliage of D. 'Firecracker' is more refined and delicate looking than that of Digiplexis 'Illumination Flame' which has rather coarse foliage. The flower color is also very different.
