However due to ground hog issues, fruit was best picked off peak to ripen indoors. It is a long keeper tomato and if eaten early is similar to the greenhouse tomatoes at your grocery store; not very remarkable. So let it ripen to the max or as best you can to really enjoy it. The plant was vigorous and only suffered a late blight; considering the wet summer there, it was a good vine, Productive and plentiful fruit; of the 8 vines planted only one succumbed early.
