" Iris unguicularis 'Eye Eye' is a 2017 Plant Delights Nursery introduction...a seedling we selected ...Read Morefrom an American Iris Society seed exchange in 2010. The vigorous 1' tall x 2' wide clumps (5 years) are composed of very narrow green leaves, topped, starting for us in mid-March with abundance of blue-lavender flowers. The upright standard petals are blue with a purple base, while the falls (falling petals) are highlighted by a narrow central orange strip, surrounded by a large area of white that nearly touches the petal edge, painted carefully with blue eye shadow. Iris unguicularis 'Eye Eye' is truly an incredible form of winter iris...good drainage is the key to success."
