"This stunner, which can grow to a treelet up to 6ft high, has leaves...Read More that are fully 6 inches long and 1 1/2 to 2 inches broad, with prominent midribs and and numerous oblique symmetrical veins branching from them. New leaflets are bright crimson tinged with a rich shade of brown and marked with a pale rose band along the midrib. When mature, they turn a deep bronzy green shaded with brown, relieved by a broad silvery white central band which gives off short branches. Thrilled to have this in my garden."
Listed as poisonous by the California poison control website.But,many common plants are also and people still plant away.
