"General: Corybas geminigibbus is a small sized species that can be found in Southern Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, and Borneo. Despite of its wide distribution it occurs on few places but can be rather common there. Plants collected in Malaysia have been offered for sale. It is not a species to start the collection with as it is not the easiest plant but more so because many sold plants are harvested in nature and there it is now under threat as the locations where it occurs are small.
Cultivation: Among the tropical Asian Corybas this species is quite unique for having a clear winter dormancy
Medium mixes that so far proved successful are:
-Pure Sphagnum
-Pure Sphagnum with perlite
Plants require cool temperatures (between 10 and 20C during the dryish winter, and 20 to 25 during growth. When in leaf the plants need a high and stable humidity. They do well in a shady temperate greenhouse or if you grow them indoors you could place a transparent Phalaenopsis pot up side down over the pot or to place the whole pot in a large ziplock bag.
Fertilize not at all or very lightly (Depending on the soil used) at the end of the growing season with aw weak fertilizer high in potassium.
As soon as the leaves yellow again in autumn/ winter the soil can be left to dry out and the tubers need a dry dormancy."
