The plant can take some freezing in the 20's but the fruit and flower can not. Local plant grown in New Guinea as a cooking variety but I believe when I get ripe fruit I may find it could also be a good eating out of hand. Was classified as AA and then AAA and now ABB. I think there was a mix up in plant material to get such a diverse amount of confusion.
