Zinnia 'Zinderella Lilac'

It's becoming increasingly common to see zinnias that don't look like zinnias. Some have single or double flowers in a single hue. Nowday...Read Mores we're seeing zinnias with crests and bi-colours, even tri-colours, with tall or short stems, and speckles and stripes.
The new Zinderella zinnias look more like scabiosas than zinnias, with extra double flowered and pin-cushion-like flowers on tall stems. Zinderella Lilac from Egmont Seeds is a double-flowered crested zinnia in lilac, and is a superb cut flower with strong stems reaching 75 centimetres. It is a hardy annual that flowers repeatedly over several months. A 2014 Fleuroselect Novelty Award winner.
