The foliage is an unremarkable basic green but free of disease. It puts on a magnificent show of radiant orange/red fall color. It’s been completely deer proof for me which I can say about very few plants. It’s a nice addition to a limited selection that the deer won’t decimate in our front yard. Backyard is fenced. .
