It is by far, hands down, the best tasting pan fried summer squash ever. I did comparative taste tests, side by side against multiple common zucchini & pattypan type squashes, and it won them all. I only pan fry them, so I don't know about the flavor by steaming or having been cooked otherwise, but how can you improve on perfection? I grew them on a trellis, which worked out great. On the ground they run maybe 8 feet or less. It is a hybrid, so saving the seeds does not work. (I tried anyway.)
