The white flowers aren't ornamentally significant, as they're hidden beneath the foliage.
All forms need good drainage, and do better with less water in winter---it's semi-succulent. Grows well in sand.
It can spread fairly aggressively until it hits a root barrier. Like the species, it also can become a weed through careless disposal of pieces of root or stem, or in moving soil containing plant debris.
