Mine set some seed pods that are large and inflated similar I imagine to M. macrocarpum. The plants seem to do fine in poor soil. I give a little bloom food when leaves appear to insure fls.
I keep the pot outdoors winter& summer, and the leaves seem to take what frosts we have here fine.
The fragrance is so wonderful and intense, I would not be without these

Likes a very well drained, moist, fertile soil in full sun but will stand a little shade. Like other Muscari species they will naturalise freely where happy.
This particular species is quite rare in gardens but is becoming more widely known.
