Chrysanthemum Megumi is the earliest cascade chrysanthemum that Longwood Gardens grows according to Karl Gercens, a Conservatory Horticulturist at Longwood Gardens.

According to Longwood Garden's website, the Chrysanthemum Festival features "more than 16,000 chrysanthemums nurtured and trained by our horticulture experts to resemble clouds, balls, spirals, columns, pagodas, and even a fountain of cascading fall blooms."
